Clear rules. No fine print designed to confuse.

By creating an account on Math GiG or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Math GiG.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you — the account holder ("you" or "User") — and Jali Global Tech Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania ("Jali", "we", "us", or "our").

If you access Math GiG on behalf of an organisation (such as a school), you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Math GiG is an adaptive mathematics learning platform for children in grades 1–7. The service includes:

• Personalised adaptive practice sessions with real-time difficulty adjustment
• 1v1 live math battles against grade-matched anonymous opponents
• A coin and in-game wallet system where earned coins convert to real Tanzanian Shillings
• Streak tracking, XP, levels, badges, and seasonal leagues
• A parent dashboard providing full visibility into a child's progress and wallet
• School competition features and national leaderboards
• A referral programme for account holders

Service availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in-app at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, however caused.

Modifications to the service

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. For material changes that reduce the value of a paid subscription currently in effect, we will provide at least 14 days' notice and offer a pro-rata refund or credit at your election.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Child profiles

After registration, you may create up to five (5) child sub-profiles. Each profile is linked to your parent account and is not an independent Jali account. You accept full responsibility for the activity of any child profile you create.

One account per person

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, accumulate coins, or gain an unfair advantage in battles is prohibited and will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts without refund.

Account security

Notify us immediately at info@jaliglobaltech.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain account security.

Plans

Math GiG is available on four subscription plans: Daily (TZS 500), Weekly (TZS 1,000), Monthly (TZS 3,000), and Annual (TZS 25,000). Feature availability varies by plan as described on the Pricing page.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period via Snippe payment gateway, which supports Visa, Mastercard, M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas, and Halotel. By subscribing, you authorise Jali to charge the selected payment method for each renewal period until cancelled.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date. We do not prorate partial periods.

Refunds

We offer a refund within 48 hours of a charge if you have not used the service during that period. After 48 hours, or after any gameplay session, subscriptions are non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

Math GiG uses a virtual currency ("Coins") that children earn through gameplay. Coins can be converted to real Tanzanian Shillings at the fixed rate of 100 Coins = TZS 500.

Earning coins

Coins are earned by answering practice questions correctly, winning live battles, completing daily challenges, and maintaining streaks. The exact earning rates are shown in-app and may be adjusted from time to time.

Wallet and withdrawals

The wallet belongs to the parent account. Only the parent can initiate withdrawals to a registered mobile money account. Withdrawals require a minimum balance of TZS 1,000 and may take up to 2 business days to process. Jali reserves the right to apply a small processing fee for withdrawals below TZS 5,000, which will be disclosed at the point of withdrawal.

Streak shields

Streak shields can be purchased with coins to protect a child's practice streak from being broken by a missed day. Shields have no cash value and cannot be refunded.

Coins are not legal tender

Coins have value only within the Math GiG ecosystem. They cannot be transferred between accounts, traded, sold, or redeemed outside the withdrawal process described above. Jali does not guarantee the continued availability of the coin-to-shilling conversion feature and may modify exchange rates with 30 days' written notice.

You agree not to, and to ensure that children under your account do not:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or any software to play, earn coins, or manipulate leaderboards
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of Math GiG
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service or its related systems
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access controls, subscription checks, or security features
• Create accounts with false identity information or impersonate another person
• Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or any unlawful content
• Engage in harassment, hate speech, or abusive conduct toward other users
• Exploit bugs or glitches knowingly; such vulnerabilities must be reported to info@jaliglobaltech.com

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension without refund and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

All content on Math GiG — including but not limited to questions, graphics, animations, audio, lesson frameworks, software, trademarks, and the "Math GiG" and "Jali Global Tech" names and logos — is the exclusive property of Jali Global Tech Limited or its licensors and is protected by Tanzanian and international intellectual property law.

Licence to use

Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, Jali grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Math GiG for your household's educational purposes. This licence does not permit you to copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from any Math GiG content.

User-generated content

Math GiG does not currently allow users to post public content. If we introduce such features in the future, you will retain ownership of your submitted content but grant Jali a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to operate and improve the service.

No educational guarantees

Math GiG is a supplementary learning tool. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grade improvements, or examination performance as a result of using the platform.

Service provided "as is"

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Tanzanian law, Jali's total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to your use of Math GiG shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to Jali in the 12 months preceding the claim. Jali is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at info@jaliglobaltech.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will respond within 14 business days.

Formal proceedings

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Tanzania (Commercial Division). If you are a consumer resident outside Tanzania, this does not affect your right to bring a claim under the consumer protection laws of your own country.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Math GiG after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the new Terms, you must cancel your subscription and stop using the service.

Account termination by you

You may close your account at any time by contacting info@jaliglobaltech.com. Closure ends your access to the service and initiates the data deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.

Termination by Jali

We may suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect for:

• Material breach of these Terms (including Sections 4, 5, and 6)
• Non-payment of subscription fees after a 7-day grace period
• Activity that endangers the safety or welfare of other users
• Court order or legal requirement

Where termination is without cause, we will provide 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid subscription fees.
